dermot foley landscape architects, together with girona based emf, were awarded a special mention for their entry in the international design competition. the scheme was 7th place from more than 160 entries worldwide. known as ‘madrid coastline - orillas y horizontes’, the scheme reorganises a fragment of the vast regional hydrological system to create a new destination for residents of madrid.
