newcastle city council have identified scotswood as the major regeneration project for the west end of newcastle. the 60 hectare site, on a steeply sloping site over-looking the tyne, will host the new housing expo and will include a network of public open spaces connected to hadrian’s way and ultimately, newcastle city centre.

dermot foley landscape architects were appointed to work with mitchell & associates and camlon lonsdale to develop initial landscape concepts and strategies.
